Behind the chair.

I’ve been doing hair for over a decade now, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: it’s never just about the hair.

I’ve had the honour of holding space for people in every chapter — the breakups, the big moves, the quiet reinventions. I’ve watched someone sit in my chair, unsure and guarded, and leave glowing with confidence they didn’t know they had.

Doing this work has shaped me too. It’s taught me how to listen, how to tune in, how to meet people where they are. It’s creative, yes — but it’s also deeply human.

Hair can shift something in us. Sometimes it’s small. Sometimes it’s everything.

And being part of that shift? I’ll never take it for granted.
